Firetronics 2000 Inc.About the Role We are looking for a reliable, organized, and hands-on Warehouse, Parts & Fleet Coordinator to join our team. This position plays an important role in supporting our field technicians and service operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse inventory, ordering and preparing parts for technicians, coordinating shipments and pickups, maintaining technician parts kits, assisting with fire extinguisher servicing, managing returns and warranty parts, and helping oversee the maintenance and repair of company vehicles. This is a hands-on position that requires someone who is organized, dependable, mechanically inclined, and able to prioritize multiple requests in a busy service environment. Key Responsibilities Parts & Inventory Management Order parts, equipment, and materials required by field technicians and the service department. Review technician requests and ensure the correct parts are sourced and available when required. Maintain appropriate minimum stock levels for commonly used fire alarm and fire protection parts. Monitor inventory levels and identify items requiring replenishment. Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming parts and materials. Maintain accurate inventory records. Prepare and stage parts and materials for upcoming technician service calls. Maintain and organize technician parts kits, ensuring commonly required items are available and properly stocked. Track parts issued to technicians and assist with inventory reconciliation. Identify obsolete, excess, damaged, or unused inventory. Returns & Warranty Parts Coordinate the return of defective, incorrect, or unused parts to suppliers. Track warranty claims and replacement parts. Maintain an organized area for returned, defective, and warranty items. Ensure appropriate documentation is completed for returns and warranty claims. Follow up with suppliers as required to ensure credits or replacements are received. Shipping, Pickups & Logistics Arrange shipments of parts, equipment, and materials to technicians and customer locations. Prepare packages and shipping documentation. Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries and courier services. Complete local supplier pickups and deliveries when required. Coordinate the movement of parts, equipment, and materials between the warehouse, office, suppliers, and technicians. Ensure urgent parts and equipment are prepared and delivered to technicians in a timely manner. Fire Extinguisher Service & Inventory Maintain fire extinguisher inventory, including tracking incoming, outgoing, serviced, and replacement extinguishers. Prepare extinguishers and equipment for servicing, delivery, and installation. Maintain service records and ensure completed work is properly documented. Maintain an organized extinguisher service and storage area. Follow established company procedures and applicable safety requirements. Assist with maintaining extinguisher servicing tools and equipment. Technician Vehicle & Fleet Support Assist with the day-to-day coordination of company technician vehicles. Monitor vehicle maintenance requirements, including oil changes, tires, brakes, inspections, and other routine maintenance. Arrange appointments with mechanics, dealerships, tire shops, and other service providers. Coordinate vehicle repairs when issues are identified. Track scheduled and completed vehicle maintenance and repairs. Assist with coordinating vehicle pickups and drop-offs for service and repairs. Help ensure technician vehicles are properly equipped with required parts, tools, equipment, and supplies. Maintain basic records related to company vehicles, including maintenance and repair history. Notify management of significant vehicle issues, recurring problems, or anticipated repair requirements.
