Warehouse Associate with Lifting and Order Packing

Job Summary Field Paper, a paper distribution company with more than 100 years in business, is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate. This is a physically active job that involves repeatedly lifting and handling boxes and large packages of paper throughout the workday while picking and packing customer orders. Forklift operation is an important part of the job, alongside substantial daily work handling paper by hand. We also provide training on paper-cutting equipment. Responsibilities Pick and pack customer orders, repeatedly lifting and handling boxes and large packages of paper throughout the day Operate forklifts, reach trucks and/or picker trucks to move and retrieve products Check items and quantities for accuracy and pack paper carefully to protect it from damage Learn to operate paper-cutting equipment through company-provided training and handle materials safely Qualifications Ability to repeatedly lift and handle boxes and packages weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the workday Ability to perform daily hands-on order picking and packing, including repeated standing, walking, bending and lifting Strong attention to accuracy and detail Ability to read and write English Forklift, reach and/or picker truck experience required Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug test Benefits 401(k) retirement plan with monthly company contributions.
