Warehouse Associate (Mon–Fri 8:30am-5pm; OT available) – $20/hr

Location: 9015 S Kedzie Ave, Evergreen Park, IL 60805 Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM , Monday–Friday Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch Pay: $20/hour (OT per company policy) Overtime: Regularly available Employment: Full-time About the Role Reliable Wire and Cable is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily shipping and warehouse operations. This role focuses on picking, packing, receiving, stocking, and moving electrical cable and related products. You’ll be on your feet throughout the day and will regularly handle heavy items. Key Responsibilities Pick and pack customer orders accurately (electrical wire/cable and related products) Pull product by item number, label, and location with strong attention to detail Operate warehouse equipment including forklift and order picker (training available if needed) Receive inbound inventory, verify counts, and put away stock in the correct locations Load and unload trucks as needed Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Assist with cycle counts, inventory organization, and general warehouse tasks Communicate shortages, damaged material, and order issues to the warehouse team Requirements Able to lift heavy items repeatedly (up to 50–75 lbs as needed) Able to stand/walk and work on your feet for the full shift Comfortable working in a warehouse environment year-round Strong attention to detail and ability to follow picking/packing procedures Reliable attendance and punctuality Able to safely operate (or learn to operate) a forklift and picker Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check Nice to Have (but not required) Warehouse experience (picking/packing, shipping/receiving, inventory) Forklift/order picker experience or certification Experience with barcode scanners, packing lists, or warehouse systems Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO): 5 days/year in the first year; increases to 10 days/year after 3 years Health insurance eligible after 6 months Additional benefits per company policy How to Apply Email your resume (or brief work history) to careers@reliable-wire.com with subject: “Warehouse Associate – Evergreen Park” Reliable Wire and Cable is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
