Busy season is here, and we need hands on deck.
WorkSi Consulting is recruiting for a flower distribution centre in Ottawa during its peak season Starting on September 30th. We're hiring for two types of roles, so whether you prefer heavier warehouse work or lighter, hands-on production, there's a spot for you.
Schedule and pay

7.95/hr + 4% vacation pay
• Overtime at $26.93/hr after 44 hours/week
• 8-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM
• Weekend shifts required during peak season (rotating schedule)
• Paid every week
• Free on-site parking
Role: General Labour (heavy duties)
• Unload trucks and break down skids by item
• Move, stage, and organize product around the warehouse
• Scan products in and out with an RF scanner
• Keep the production team supplied with materials
• Rotate inventory to keep flowers fresh
• Keep work areas clean and organized
Heads up: this is a cold environment. The warehouse is kept between 0°C and 5°C to keep the flowers fresh, so dress in warm layers.
What you need
• Warehouse, production, or general labour experience
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs (required for General Labour)
• Comfortable standing for a full shift in a cold environment
• Available for a rotating schedule, including weekends
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic English communication skills
• CSA-approved safety shoes (required on your first day)
Nice to have
• RF scanner experience
• Experience with flowers, food, or other fresh products
