Warehouse Associate

Title : Warehouse Associate (Monday to Friday 9am-5pm On-site) Company Intro : Uniparts OEM has established themselves as a leader in the Automotive Industry, as a trusted OEM parts brokerage, serving the Canadian market for nearly 25 years. We provide in office training to ensure you’ll learn the skills you need to be successful. Job Description: A position with room for growth, the Warehouse Associate will work Monday to Friday at our location in Burlington, ON. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager. We are looking for a highly organized individual that has warehouse experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily receipt, packing and organization of shipments to and from our warehouse. Daily tasks would include but not limited to; shipping and receiving, organizing & facilitating orders, completing paperwork, working on our in-house inventory management system, and keeping the warehouse clean & well organized. Required Experience and Qualifications - Complete fluency in the English language; both written and verbal - Physically fit, capable of lifting more than 50 lbs - Effective time management, organizational and communication skills - Experience with inventory management systems (confident computer skills) - Self motivated with a proven ability to work independently - Recent WHIMIS Certification is considered a significant asset - Experience operating a forklift, an asset - Available to work Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm - Valid Class G Driver License (A clean driver’s abstract must be provided to be considered for this position) Responsibilities of the Position - Receive, unload and organize parts and/or supplies within the warehouse - Compare units received with manifest to ensure balanced inventory, reporting any discrepancies - Prepare inventory for shipping: skidding, packaging, and labeling of goods - Load and ship goods based on packing slips, ensuring safety while in transit - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment - Complete regular physical inventory counts & reports Benefits : As a team member at Uniparts, you’ll enjoy: Positive work environment Comprehensive benefit package, offered after 3mths 10 vacation days per year Career advancement opportunities Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week Benefits: Casual dress Dental care Extended health care Life insurance On-site parking Paid time off Vision care Work Location: In person
