Material Handling & Forklift Operations Safely operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, and order pickers to move, stack, and retrieve materials throughout the warehouse Load and unload flatbeds, box trucks, and shipping containers with accuracy and safety Transport heavy bulk hardware, track, and garage door components to designated staging areas and high-bay rack locations Conduct daily OSHA-required pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs immediately Adhere strictly to warehouse safety protocols, pedestrian right-of-way, and speed limits Warehouse & Order Fulfillment Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately using RF scanners and pick sheets Verify incoming/outgoing materials against packing slips, bills of lading (BOLs), and purchase orders Cut materials (aluminum/brush) to exact customer specifications Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper rack placement Build, wrap, and secure pallets for safe freight transport Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse floor What You BringEquipment & Experience 1–2+ years of hands-on experience operating forklifts (sit-down, stand-up reach, and/or order picker) Prior forklift certification preferred (in-house recertification provided) Strong track record of safe equipment operation and dock safety awareness Previous warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing experience General Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stretch, and remain physically active throughout your shift Proficiency with RF barcode scanners, basic inventory computer systems, and data entry Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills Detail-oriented mindset with high standards for order accuracy Team-first attitude with strong communication skills What Matters HereAt Action Industries, safety, respect, and teamwork are non-negotiable.
