Warehouse Associate / Delivery Helper

About PSI PSI is a family-owned importer and distributor in Scarborough. Since 2001 we’ve supplied Caribbean food and health products to grocery chains and independent stores across Ontario. About the role You’ll work alongside our full-time warehouse worker on everything from unloading containers to delivering orders to stores. You’ll start part-time, 3 days a week, while you learn the stock, the stores and the delivery routes. The role then moves to full-time, and you’ll become the one driving our truck and running deliveries. What you’ll do Unload containers and receive incoming stock Move and organize inventory around the warehouse Pick and pack orders, checking every item against the order before it ships Load the truck and go out on deliveries to grocery stores and independent retailers Unload at each store and work with the store’s receiver to get the delivery checked in Keep the warehouse organized and safe Where this role is going As you learn the business, you’ll take on more of the job yourself: Driving our truck and handling deliveries on your own Running the warehouse day to day Keeping inventory counts accurate Managing shipments to retailer warehouses and independent stores What we’re looking for You pay close attention to detail and don’t miss an order or pick the wrong item You think a problem through when something doesn’t add up, like a short count or a missing item You can lift and carry heavy cases throughout the day You follow safe lifting, loading and equipment procedures every time You communicate clearly and politely with customers and store staff on deliveries Nice to have Experience driving a truck for deliveries Forklift experience Heavy equipment operation Shipping and receiving experience Requirements Valid Ontario G licence with a clean driving record, since this role moves into driving our truck Able to provide a current driver’s abstract and pass a criminal record check Available 3-4 days each week to start Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week Benefits: On-site parking Work Location: In person
