Primary Warehouse Associate, with potential Class A CDL Delivery Driving responsibility if qualified. Full-Time. K + R Building Materials is hiring for our Foristell, Missouri distribution center. We serve lumberyards and building material dealers. This is a hands-on position, we’re looking for someone who enjoys variety and is willing to pitch in wherever needed. WHY WORK AT K + R? WHAT YOU’LL DO Your day will include a combination of warehouse work, shipping and receiving and eventually some delivery to local customers if qualified. Load, secure and unload building materials Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment Pull and pack customer orders Assist with loading and unloading trailers Deliver building materials to lumberyards and building material dealers throughout the region Operate Class A truck/trailer and flatbed equipment safely Complete delivery paperwork and required DOT-compliant logs Properly secure and inspect loads before transport Maintain a professional, helpful attitude with customers Follow company and DOT safety procedures WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Required: Dependable attendance Ability and willingness to perform warehouse and material-handling duties in addition to driving Commitment to safe work practices Forklift experience Valid Class A CDL (a plus!) Safe driving record Professional and courteous attitude with customers and coworkers Preferred, but not required: Flatbed experience Building materials delivery experience We’re happy to train the right person on equipment and procedures where needed.
