Position Overview: The Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver is an essential member of the Operations team responsible for preparing, organizing, maintaining, transporting, and managing the equipment, supplies, and inventory required for catered events and daily company operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that all events are properly equipped, accurately packed, and delivered on time. Responsibilities include warehouse operations, inventory management, equipment preparation, loading and unloading vehicles, and safely transporting catering equipment and supplies to and from event locations throughout the Tampa Bay area. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards of organization, safety, accountability, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations & Organization Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. Receive, inspect, sort, and properly store incoming equipment, supplies, and deliveries. Organize warehouse inventory to ensure equipment and supplies are easily accessible and properly maintained. Follow established storage procedures, labeling systems, and inventory organization standards. Maintain cleanliness of warehouse floors, shelving, storage areas, loading docks, and workspaces. Identify damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment and report concerns to management. Event Preparation & Equipment Management Pull, pack, and stage equipment and supplies according to event packing lists and production schedules. Verify the accuracy and completeness of all equipment and supplies before they leave the warehouse. Prepare and organize catering equipment, serving pieces, buffet displays, beverage stations, and other event-related materials. Load and unload company vehicles, ensuring equipment is properly organized and secured for transportation. Receive, unload, sort, and account for equipment returned from events. Inspect returned equipment for cleanliness, damage, and missing components. Clean, sanitize, and properly store equipment in preparation for future use. Assist with last-minute event requests and adjustments to equipment needs. Driving, Deliveries & Transportation Safely operate company vehicles to transport catering equipment, supplies, and other event-related materials to and from event locations. Complete scheduled deliveries, pickups, and equipment transfers accurately and on time. Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment using proper handling techniques to prevent damage or loss. Verify delivery contents against packing lists and ensure all required items reach their designated locations. Assist with transporting and positioning equipment at event locations as needed. Retrieve equipment and supplies following events, ensuring all company property is accounted for before departure. Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance concerns or safety issues promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles.
