Diversified Supply Inc. is seeking a dependable, safety-minded Warehouse Associate / Back-Up Driver to join our Aiken team. In this role, your primary focus will be supporting daily warehouse operations , including receiving and organizing inventory, picking and preparing customer orders, cutting wire and cable to specifications, assisting with shipping and kitting, and maintaining an accurate, safe, and organized warehouse. You’ll also serve as a back-up driver when needed , making customer deliveries using a Company-provided 26-ft non-CDL box truck and helping ensure materials arrive safely, accurately, and on time. Whether you’re preparing an order, verifying inventory, operating warehouse equipment, assisting a customer, or covering a delivery, you’ll play an important role in keeping our Aiken operation running smoothly. Essential Functions Operational & Technical Duties Maintain a working knowledge of the sales, order fulfillment, inventory, shipping, and delivery processes to ensure timely and accurate customer service. Receive, inspect, unload, stage, stock, pick, pack, and ship materials in accordance with Company procedures. Verify incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy, quantity, condition, and proper documentation. Accurately receive inventory into the Company's inventory management system and maintain inventory integrity. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, wire-cutting equipment, and other warehouse equipment after completing required training and authorization. Measure, cut, coil, reel, label, package, and stage wire and cable to customer specifications using Company-approved wire-cutting equipment and procedures. Verify product numbers, wire type, gauge, footage, quantities, and customer specifications before performing any wire cuts. Read and accurately interpret pick tickets, shipping documents, customer orders, and wire-cutting requirements. Properly identify, label, and stage completed wire orders for customer pickup, shipment, or delivery. Maintain accurate identification of remaining wire inventory by labeling or marking remaining footage in accordance with Company procedures. Properly segregate reusable wire remnants and scrap material in designated locations. Perform routine inspections of wire-cutting equipment and measuring devices before use and promptly report equipment malfunctions, calibration concerns, maintenance needs, or safety hazards to management. Maintain organization of wire reels, cut wire inventory, warehouse storage locations, and work areas to promote efficiency and safety. Pull customer orders accurately while maintaining quality standards and minimizing product damage. Assist customers at the warehouse counter by locating and preparing materials as assigned. Deliver customer orders using Company vehicles as assigned while maintaining safe driving practices and excellent customer service. Assist in maintaining appropriate inventory levels by reporting shortages, damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, or stock replenishment needs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by following established housekeeping standards.
