Position Summary The Warehouse Associate supports all areas of daily warehouse operations, including receiving, order picking, packing, and shipping. This position is responsible for accurately handling incoming products, fulfilling customer orders, maintaining inventory, and preparing shipments safely and efficiently. Responsibilities may shift between warehouse functions based on workload and staffing needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Unload, stage, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documentation. Identify, document, and report shortages, overages, damage, incorrect products, and other receiving or inventory discrepancies. Complete receiving transactions, label products, and place them in the correct inventory locations. Pick and verify products according to sales orders, pick tickets, or system instructions. Clearly identify and stage picked orders to prevent products from being mixed. Select appropriate packaging and securely pack, label, wrap, band, or strap products and pallets for shipment. Complete required shipping paperwork, system transactions, and shipment photographs. Stage, verify, and load completed shipments onto the correct carrier or truck. Coordinate with drivers and carriers to complete the loading process safely and efficiently. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment. Monitor warehouse and packaging supplies and report when additional materials are needed. General Responsibilities Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while following all company procedures and quality standards. Communicate receiving, order, shipment, or inventory issues to warehouse leadership. Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory as needed. Work in receiving, picking, shipping, and other warehouse areas based on daily workload and staffing needs. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Physical Requirements High school diploma or equivalent and previous warehouse, receiving, picking, packing, shipping, forklift, or pallet-jack experience preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to read warehouse documentation and accurately match part numbers and quantities. Ability to identify and document product damage, order errors, and inventory discrepancies. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments while following written and verbal instructions. Ability to select appropriate packaging and securely prepare products for shipment. Basic computer, scanner, camera, and ERP or inventory-system skills. Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with dependable attendance and flexibility to meet changing priorities. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, reach, stoop, push, pull, and climb. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and handle heavier or oversized products with assistance or appropriate equipment. Ability to work around varying temperatures, noise, dust, and moving equipment.
