Warehouse Associate & Box Truck Driver (Solo Role)

Read this first: this is a one-person job. Most days you’ll work alone. You’ll build cabinets in the warehouse, stage orders, and drive deliveries and supply runs on your own. Nobody will stand over your shoulder, and there’s no crew to talk with through the day. You get a list of what needs to happen, and you make it happen. Who we are Corner & Cove Interiors supplies and installs cabinets, countertops, and LVP flooring for contractors, builders, and real estate investors across Metro Detroit. We’re a growing local company with a new warehouse and showroom in Macomb. Our customers are trade professionals who need orders complete, accurate, and on time, and we built our reputation on that. What you’ll do Assemble cabinets to manufacturer spec, square, tight, and ready for install Receive, count, and verify incoming SKUs, and keep inventory records accurate Run a forklift and pallet jack to receive, move, and stage product Drive a 16' box truck with lift gate to job sites across Macomb, Oakland, Wayne, and St. Clair counties Make periodic out-of-state supply runs to pick up product from suppliers Load and unload deliveries safely, regularly handling boxes up to 80 lbs Represent Corner & Cove professionally on every job site What the job takes physically This is an active job from start to finish. You’ll stand and walk most of the day. You’ll lift up to 80 lbs over and over, climb in and out of the truck, and carry product up driveways and into job sites. Requirements Current forklift certification Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card (required for out-of-state supply runs) Comfortable driving a 16' box truck on local and out-of-state routes Able to lift up to 80 lbs regularly and stay on your feet all day Strong attention to detail Comfortable working alone for most of the day Bonus if you have Flat-pack cabinet assembly experience Carpentry, woodworking, or construction trades background Warehouse and delivery experience Current DOT medical card Familiarity with inventory or SKU systems Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Pay $20–$22/hr, based on experience, with a 90-day performance pay review.
