Driving & Logistics Safely operate non-CDL commercial box trucks (up to 26,000 lbs GVWR) to deliver materials and orders to local customers and job sites Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections Secure, load, and unload freight safely using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or liftgates to prevent damage during transport Maintain accurate delivery receipts, customer sign-offs, and trip logs Serve as a professional, customer-focused brand ambassador while interacting with clients during deliveries Warehouse Operations Pick, pack, and ship customer orders with precision Load/unload incoming/outgoing trucks and verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders Use barcode scanners and inventory systems to track stock movement Cut materials (aluminum/brush) to exact specifications Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory management Build pallets, stage shipments, and prepare freight Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and material-handling machinery Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment What You BringLicensing & Driving Requirements Valid Driver’s License with a Chauffeur’s Endorsement / Commercial Non-CDL license Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) with a strong record of safe driving Solid knowledge of local traffic routes, vehicle safety procedures, and basic road laws Qualifications & Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent 1+ years of experience driving a box truck, delivery van, or commercial straight truck preferred Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution experience preferred Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stretch, and remain physically active throughout your shift Basic computer, scanner, and data entry skills Strong attention to detail, safety-first mindset, and problem-solving skills Team-first attitude with excellent communication and customer service skills What Matters Here At Action Industries, safety, respect, and teamwork are non-negotiable.
