Job Summary: The Warehouse Associate & Box Truck Delivery Driver is a member of the Hummingbird Wholesale Warehouse Team. This role keeps product moving safely, accurately, and on time, from receiving and storage through order fulfillment and local delivery to customers. Warehouse duties include picking, packing, receiving, inventory control, and keeping the warehouse organized. Delivery duties include driving our 24-foot box truck on local routes up to three days per week, completing paperwork, collecting payments, and representing Hummingbird to customers. The work is fast-paced and physical, and it changes often. People who do well here are dependable, adaptable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working as part of a team. Essential Functions Delivery Driving Safely drive the Hummingbird box truck on assigned local routes and meet scheduled delivery windows. Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly to the Logistics Manager. Verify loads against paperwork before departure, and secure loads to prevent damage or loss. Move pallets and product on and off the truck, including use of the lift gate with manual and electric pallet jacks. Complete delivery paperwork, collect payments, and track returnable deposit containers accurately. Follow all applicable traffic laws, company driving policies, and DOT or other regulations that apply to this vehicle.
