Warehouse Associate and Backup Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Associate and Backup Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and safe handling of materials. As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks related to stocking, packing, shipping, and receiving goods. When needed, you will step into the driver’s seat as a backup driver, covering both in town and out of town delivery routes. This position is perfect for someone eager to grow within a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards and operational excellence. Responsibilities Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment Operate various types of material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks following all safety protocols Load and unload trucks safely using appropriate equipment while adhering to OSHA regulations Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by stocking shelves, organizing materials, and ensuring safety compliance with PPE use Assist in shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipments against purchase orders and packing lists Support warehouse operations by performing manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and materials movement as needed When designated as backup driver, operate company vehicles responsibly for deliveries or pickups following all traffic laws and safety procedures Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse distribution or warehouse operations is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and load/unload trucks safely Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper PPE use is essential Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting with proper technique Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately Valid chauffer’s license with a clean driving record; experience with 26' box truck operation is a plus for backup driving responsibilities Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking & packing, shipping & receiving processes Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to operational excellence!
