Inovata Foods Corp. is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our afternoon team in Tillsonburg. This is a full-time permanent role for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment where accuracy and teamwork matter. Position Details Vacancy Type: Existing Vacancy Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Shift: Afternoons Pay Rate: $23.90/hr + $1.50/hr afternoon shift premium A Typical Day Your day starts with receiving incoming goods, verifying, putting away, and storing product in accordance with allergen controls and GMP guidelines. From there, you'll stage and issue ingredients, raw materials, and packaging to production, always following FIFO and FEFO protocols. You'll complete cycle counts, track inventory shortages, and verify the accuracy of all warehouse materials and paperwork. Throughout your shift, you'll operate MHE equipment safely, keep your work area clean and organized, and communicate any product damage, incidents, or concerns to your Lead Hand or Supervisor. No two shifts look exactly the same and there's always something to keep you moving. Primary Responsibilities Receive, verify, and store incoming goods in accordance with GMP, allergen controls, and warehouse best practices Stage and issue ingredients, raw materials, and packaging to production following FIFO/FEFO and CFIA requirements Complete cycle counts and report inventory shortages, potential shortages, and damaged product Deliver raw materials requiring tempering to designated rooms as directed by Lead Hand or Supervisor Operate MHE equipment safely and report any incidents or equipment issues promptly Maintain accuracy and verification of all warehouse materials handled and paperwork generated Support the Warehouse Management Team with updating and maintaining warehouse processes and procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with safety policies and applicable legislation Assist in the training and orientation of new employees as needed Follow all GMP and food safety programs to support the highest quality product for our customers Other duties as assigned by Lead Hand, Supervisor, or Manager Rewards Full-time, permanent employment in a stable and team-focused environment Full medical, dental, and disability insurance package available after 6 months Deferred Profit Sharing Plan with Desjardins after 1 year Two weeks' vacation to start Annual footwear allowance Requirements Previous warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience is an asset Forklift or MHE equipment experience preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in inventory and paperwork Comfortable working in a cold, damp warehouse environment with physical tasks including lifting up to 60 lbs Reliable, punctual, and a collaborative team player Experience with inventory systems or warehouse documentation is an asset Working Conditions This position involves regular physical activity including walking, standing, and lifting up to 60 lbs. Work is performed in a warehouse environment that may be cold, wet, or damp. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams is expected throughout the shift.
