Warehouse Associate

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the overall success of our logistics and supply chain processes. This position involves various tasks related to warehouse management, materials handling, and shipping and receiving operations. Duties Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely to move products and materials within the warehouse. Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintain organized inventory by accurately packaging, labeling, and storing products according to company standards. Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment and adhere to OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Utilize AS400 or similar warehouse management systems for tracking inventory levels and managing stock movements. Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed and report any issues promptly. Skills Strong knowledge of warehouse management principles and practices. Proficiency in materials handling techniques, including packaging and labeling. Familiarity with OSHA regulations pertaining to workplace safety. Experience working under a warehouse supervisor or in a supervisory capacity is a plus. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks safely and efficiently. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills for managing inventory effectively.
