English Village LaneWarehouse Associate English Village Lane Location: In-person, Birmingham, AL Reports to: Operations Manager Position Type: Full-time Department: Operations - Warehouse and Fulfillment Position Summary The Warehouse Associate owns the day-to-day execution of English Village Lane's warehouse and fulfillment operations. This role is responsible for inventory accuracy, receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, local delivery, warehouse organization, transportation records, and event logistics. The Warehouse Associate reports to the Operations Manager and works closely with customer-facing teams to ensure every order is handled accurately, efficiently, and in line with the delivery commitment made to the customer. Core Responsibilities Own day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, organization, picking, packing, shipping, and local delivery. Maintain accurate inventory records and complete monthly inventory tracking and reconciliation in partnership with the Director of Operations. Monitor stock levels for Pom Boxes, rug pads, Knot Quality Key Rings, packaging materials, and other warehouse supplies; proactively flag replenishment needs. Process, fill, ship, and/or deliver customer orders accurately and on time, verifying Shopify, ShipStation, and Monday.com for order notes before fulfillment. Track outbound shipments and key fulfillment dates, including receipt and shipment dates, and escalate potential delivery delays to the Director of Operations before the customer commitment is missed. Receive inbound product, confirm quantities and condition, document issues, and route quality concerns to the appropriate team member before the product is released for fulfillment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse with clearly defined storage locations and efficient workflows for rugs, samples, packaging, and event materials. Coordinate local deliveries and maintain accurate mileage, fuel, and transportation records. Maintain the Company delivery vehicle, including required cleaning/detailing, routine maintenance tracking, and associated receipts and records. Support event logistics by pulling, packing, loading, transporting, unloading, and reconciling rugs, samples, displays, and other materials needed for Company events. Keep Monday.com and other designated tracking tools current so inventory, fulfillment status, delivery activity, and warehouse needs are visible to the broader team. Develop and follow repeatable warehouse and fulfillment procedures that improve accuracy, speed, organization, and scalability. Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Customer Experience, Sales, and other team members to resolve fulfillment issues and ensure a consistent white-glove customer experience. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple orders, priorities, and deadlines at once. Comfort working in operational systems and maintaining accurate records; experience with Shopify, ShipStation, Monday.com, or similar platforms is preferred. Strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with a cross-functional team.
