Everything in between happens on the warehouse floor — and that is where the Warehouse Associate – Warehouse Operations works. This role keeps inventory accurate, locations reliable, and product ready to move the moment an order calls for it. This is not just moving boxes. You are the person who makes sure that when the system says a product is in a bin, it actually is. You pick accurately, replenish before a location runs dry, count what is on the shelf, and step in wherever the branch needs you — at the receiving dock, on the shipping floor, or in the aisles. When the floor is right, every other part of the branch runs on inventory it can trust. When it is not, the error surfaces at the worst possible moment — in front of a customer. This role is for someone who is steady, flexible, and accurate, who fills the gap without being asked, and who understands that a well-run warehouse floor is what keeps every Shepherd promise moving. Work Shift and Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm Compensation Details: The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $20.00 per hour depending on experience. Right product, right location, right quantity — every time. When the system and the shelf agree, contractors get what they need when they need it. We Stay Hungry: You notice the slow pick path, the bin that is always overfilled, the location that never matches the count. You surface the pattern, suggest a better layout or a smarter replenishment habit, and keep looking for ways to make the floor run cleaner. We Grow Together : You are the connection between receiving and shipping. You help move freight off the dock, keep pick locations stocked for outbound orders, and pitch in wherever volume spikes. When your communication is clean with both teams, the whole branch moves as one. We Own It: You do not walk past a problem. If a count is off, you report it. If product is in the wrong location, you fix it. If something looks wrong, you stop and ask. Ownership on the warehouse floor means the next person can trust what you left behind. We Go Above & Beyond: You replenish the pick face before it runs empty, cover the dock when shipping or receiving falls behind, and leave your area better than you found it. Order Picking & Fulfillment Support Pick orders accurately from bin locations and confirm every pick against order documents — right product, right quantity, every time Support the shipping team by staging picked orders cleanly and on time, especially priority and will-call orders Support the receiving team by unloading, staging, and moving inbound freight safely off the dock Shift between picking, receiving, and shipping tasks as volume and priorities change throughout the day Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager, shipping, and receiving on time-critical orders so nothing waits on the floor Inventory Accuracy & Cycle Counts Perform scheduled cycle counts and spot checks accurately, recording results promptly in the warehouse management system Investigate and report count varia…
