Warehouse Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Job Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 to 4:00 Duties - Operate warehouse equipment such as cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to facilitate order picking and inventory management. - Load and unload shipments accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all packages are handled with care. - Perform order picking tasks, ensuring that items are selected accurately according to customer orders. - Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including checking in merchandise and preparing outgoing shipments. - Create shipping labels and BOL's to send out product to customers. - Maintain an organized and clean work area to promote safety and efficiency within the warehouse. - Utilize CDK or similar warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock movements. - Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements - Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not mandatory. - Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as cherry pickers and pallet jacks is highly desirable. - Familiarity with order picking processes and shipping/receiving procedures is a plus. - Ability to effectively use RF scanners for inventory management tasks. - Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. - Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Must be able to lift heavy packages (up to 75 pounds) as required by the job duties. - A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
