Warehouse Associate

Job Title: Warehouse Associate Job Overview Syston Cable is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse and shipping operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role is responsible for order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and maintaining organized warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, safety-focused, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Assist with inventory reconciliation and returned goods processing Manage returned products, inspect returned items, and resolve unauthorized, damaged, used, or non-compliant returns as needed Prepare and process shipping documentation and labels Pick, pack, and verify customer orders accurately and efficiently Load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, or other warehouse equipment Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and process transactions Manage shipping and receiving activities, including verifying shipments against purchase orders and packing lists Restock shelves and maintain accurate inventory levels Conduct physical inventory counts and support inventory audits Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company safety standards and OSHA requirements Support warehouse distribution activities and other assigned warehouse duties Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience preferred (entry-level candidates considered) Experience with WMS, RF scanners, inventory systems, or ERP/MRP systems preferred Forklift certification or equipment operation experience is a plus Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn internal systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, walking, standing, and lifting for extended periods Join Syston Cable and become part of a team focused on efficiency, teamwork, and continuous improvement while supporting the delivery of high-quality products and service.
