We are a custom packaging design and distribution company that specializes in custom corrugated cardboard boxes for small to medium sized ecommerce businesses. Flush has a mission to create high quality, eco-friendly packaging that empowers small businesses across the US. The owners, Heeva Asefvaziri and Randy Baudendistel, both grew up on the central coast of California and value a work/life balance. Job Overview We are looking for a warehouse associate to join our team. We're a small business with a small but mighty team. Need someone who is reliable and able to work independently. You'll be in charge of making sure the daily orders are packed correctly and efficiently. This involves counting/quality checking each box within an order, packing for safe shipment, and labeling correctly. Responsibilities and Duties § Perform order fulfillment duties, including picking, packing, and shipping customer orders accurately and efficiently § Preparing orders – counting, pre-folding and strapping orders together § Quality control – inspecting cardboard boxes for defects § Printing packings slips and packaging orders to ship out via USPS and UPS § Palletizing and preparing pallets for shipment with stretch wrap and hand strapping § Generating appropriate shipping labels § Assorted other warehouse related tasks About the Role/Qualifications § 40 hours per week with additional overtime on an as needed basis § Shift is M-F, 8:30am-5:00pm § Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred § Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment processes § Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50lbs.) and perform physical tasks as required § Fluency in English Pay: From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week Benefits: Employee discount Referral program Work Location: In person
