Warehouse Associate

Looking for more than just another warehouse job? HardingPoorman is looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate to help keep materials moving throughout our busy print manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys staying active, working with a team, and keeping things organized and moving. You'll use material-handling equipment, including forklifts and electronic pallet jacks, to deliver paper and other materials where they're needed throughout production. We're especially interested in someone with warehouse or manufacturing experience who wants the opportunity to learn more about our production equipment and grow into a machine operator role over time. What You'll Do Move paper, products, and raw materials throughout the production facility. Deliver paper and materials to presses, cutters, and other production equipment. Operate forklifts, electronic pallet jacks, hand carts, and other material-moving equipment safely. Communicate with production departments to anticipate material needs and keep work moving. Restock shelves and organize materials throughout the facility. Manage scrap paper and cardboard and assist with the baler. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment. Read job tickets and other instructions to determine material and production needs. Perform basic equipment checks and maintenance as assigned. Jump in where needed to help the production team meet schedules and deadlines. What We're Looking For Previous warehouse, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience preferred. Previous forklift experience strongly preferred. Comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment. Able to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 70 pounds. Basic computer skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Dependable and able to work independently once trained. Comfortable communicating with employees throughout different production departments. Able to prioritize tasks and adjust when production needs change. A Good Fit for This Role Is Someone Who... Notices what needs to be done and takes initiative.
