Warehouse Associate

Job Purpose: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods within the manufacturing environment. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of products through shipping, loading, and unloading processes, ultimately contributing to the smooth operation of the warehouse and the overall success of the manufacturing business. Key Responsibilities: Efficiently load and unload trucks, ensuring that all products are handled with care and accuracy. Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule, ensuring all shipping documentation is accurately maintained. Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits and inspections. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues promptly. Assist in the organization and maintenance of warehouse space, optimizing storage and layout for maximum efficiency. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations and contribute to team goals. Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent Required Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Experience with shipping and receiving processes Familiarity with loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Basic computer skills for inventory management and shipping documentation Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
