In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of inventory through accurate picking, packing, shipping, and receiving processes. Duties Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to track inventory levels, process orders, and update stock records accurately. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using order picker equipment, pallet jacks, and other tools to ensure timely fulfillment. Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols; utilize forklifts and pallet jacks for heavy or bulky items. Manage shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping labels, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations and trade compliance standards. Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry and inventory management software; perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies. Support shipping & receiving operations by inspecting incoming goods, verifying quantities against purchase orders, and documenting receipt details. Assist with stocking shelves, packaging products securely for shipment, and organizing warehouse space for optimal flow of goods. Provide excellent customer service by responding to internal requests promptly and professionally while maintaining a positive warehouse environment. Qualifications Previous experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is highly preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRPs is essential. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts, order quantities, and shipping documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to generate reports or communicate effectively within teams. Valid certification for forklift operation or experience with forklift safety standards is advantageous. Knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment processes, and international trade regulations enhances your suitability for this role. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting are crucial for success.
