Warehouse Associate

American Crane and Tractor is looking to hire a Warehouse Associate in our Kansas City, KS warehouse. This is a Full Time, 1st shift, Mon- Fri Picker/Packer job with occasional Saturdays required. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour plus benefits offered. We pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service and ability to quickly and accurately ship order to our customers. POSITION SUMMARY Our Warehouse Workers are so important to our companies success. They wear many hats on a given day and have various job duties such as sorting, stacking, loading and unloading trucks, making boxes, cycle counting, and operating warehouse equipment. There is always a new challenge and a variety of types of duties so that you are challenged and not bored by repetition. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Hand stack and sort products by item and lot number Load and unload trailers Label and put away stock Package shipments to ship on LTL freight or parcel freight Conduct housekeeping tasks Operate a forklift and order picker safely as needed to perform duties Perform other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or Equivalent Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred but not required Radio Frequency (RF) scanner skills preferred but not required Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Ability to tolerate hot and cold work environment Detail oriented with excellent time management skills Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 75 lbs Squatting, bending, and twisting motions Basic computer literacy required Must be 18 years or older Ability to pass a background check and drug screen required EOE Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Forklift: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Forklift Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person Pay: From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Work Location: In person
