Warehouse Associate

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE Job Description: Aqualine is looking for a responsible and well-organized individual to perform a variety of warehouse tasks as a Full-time (40-hour week) Warehouse Associate at their DECATUR, TX facility. A successful applicant should be highly organized, detail oriented, and possess excellent oral communication skills. Job Duties: · Complete order shipments by pulling and properly packaging material, and processing shipments on the computer · Safely drive a forklift · Ship packages and prepare palletized shipments for LTL services · Unload containers and stock inventory locations · Use a variety of computer programs to schedule shipments online; Fishbowl, Microsoft Word, Internet · Conduct inventory cycle counts several times a week, and maintain inventory · Create and maintain tracking logs · Assemble and label products · Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat · Comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations · Follow organization standards in the warehouse · Order warehouse and cleaning supplies as necessary · Effectively communicate with office staff regarding customer orders · Interact with and assist customers via our will call counter · Other tasks as needed Desired Skills & Experience · Forklift driving experience · Can lift up to 75 pounds · Climb and descend work ladders safely while carrying a box · Follows all required safety measures · Has excellent organization and time management skills · Can work successfully and prioritize in time sensitive situations · Able to work independently, and in a team setting · Strong customer service-oriented work ethic Benefits: · Competitive compensation based on experience & qualifications · Employee Medical Insurance · Vacation/Holiday Pay · 401K Retirement Program About Aqualine: Since 2006, Aqualine has successfully become a recognized supplier of quality irrigation and plumbing products to distributors throughout North America.
