Warehouse Associate

We are a locally-owned retail and building materials company located in the heart of downtown Ocean Springs. We are seeking customer service-oriented individuals to work at the front of our main warehouse assisting customers with locating and loading a variety of building materials (lumber, insulation, nails, etc.) into their vehicles. We offer full-time employment with a great work environment and eligibility for benefits. General Responsibilities: Learn product offerings to assist customers. Fill customer orders by pulling product in the warehouse that meets their pickup ticket. Operate forklifts to pull material. Load customer vehicles by hand and by use of a forklift. Operate various equipment to cut material (threaders, saws, etc.). Write credit receipts for customer returns. Stock materials in a presentable format. Restock as needed. Work safely and in cooperation with coworkers to meet customer needs. Requirements: High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license Forklift certification/experience (preferred but not required) Flexible to changing priorities Ability to work in a physically demanding work environment with continuous standing, walking, lifting, bending, and the like Ability to work outdoors in a warehouse with exposure to all weather conditions Job Details: Full-time employment with opportunities for overtime Shift during store hours: Monday - Friday (6:30 AM - 6:00 PM), with rotating Saturday schedule (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Benefits available: medical, dental, and vision insurance; Simple IRA with company match; supplemental benefits through AFLAC; paid time off; paid holidays; store discounts; fitness center discounts Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $14.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Retirement plan Vision insurance Work Location: In person
