This Position Will: 


The Warehouse Associate performs a wide range of warehouse operations including, shipping, receiving, inventory control, order picking, packing, restocking, and verifying documentation to support internal and external customer requirements.  This role ensures accurate movement and storage of materials while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.  


In This Role You Will: 

  • Accurately read and verify purchase orders, part numbers, pick lists, packing lists, freight bills, and related documentation.
  • Ensure all documentation matches incoming and outgoing materials to meet internal and external requirements.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in the warehouse and other required areas.
  • Read, interpret, and process pick lists, packing lists, and bills of lading.
  • Enter billing information, shipping data, inventory adjustments, and labels using a computer system.
  • Pull, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment or delivery according to specifications.
  • Use computer systems to retrieve and input warehouse-related information and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Immediately communicate any discrepancies or errors to management and participate in effective problem solving.
  • Correct inventory inaccuracies within Epicor.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in at least two warehouse sub-departments:  Shipping - Receiving - Production Support.
  • Perform specialized responsibilities as assigned that extend beyond general warehouse duties.



Requirements

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to walk, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, reach and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, to move, deliver and store inventory.
  • Ability to stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods as operational needs require.

Qualifications: 

  • High School diploma or GED (General Education Degree)
  • Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions in English
  • Basic literacy is required to read specifications, notices, purchase orders, pick tickets, packing lists, and bills of lading
  • Basic skills with MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to provide professional communication and customer service to dealers and customers with shipping related questions or concerns
  • Ability to maintain accurate inventory in Epicor
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.  As well as the ability to work without constant supervision
