Warehouse Associate

Alva Freight International is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team. We are looking for a highly organized, responsible, and proactive individual with strong experience in warehouse operations and the ability to handle multiple warehouse functions. Key Responsibilities The ideal candidate should have experience in: Handling all general warehouse operations and daily warehouse activities. Shipping and Receiving of incoming and outgoing cargo. Preparing and processing warehouse receipts accurately. Receiving, inspecting, identifying, and properly storing cargo. Organizing and maintaining designated warehouse locations for all cargo. Ensuring cargo is placed in the correct location and properly identified. Preparing cargo for shipments and coordinating outgoing orders. Loading and unloading cargo safely and efficiently. Maintaining accurate inventory and warehouse records. Verifying quantities, labels, documentation, and condition of cargo upon receipt. Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and operating efficiently. Assisting with inventory counts and cargo verification. Following company procedures and warehouse safety standards. Communicating effectively with the Operations and Documentation departments regarding incoming and outgoing cargo. Qualifications Previous warehouse experience is required . Strong experience with Shipping & Receiving . Experience preparing and managing warehouse receipts . Ability to organize warehouse locations and maintain accurate inventory. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsible, punctual, and dependable. Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in a freight forwarding, logistics, or cargo warehouse environment is highly preferred . Experience with Magaya software is highly preferred and will be considered a plus. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who understands warehouse operations as a whole—not just one specific function. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling receiving, shipping, warehouse receipts, cargo organization, inventory control, and general warehouse responsibilities. The candidate should be organized and capable of helping maintain a structured warehouse where cargo can be easily identified, located, and processed. Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Work Location: In person
