Warehouse Associate
Stegas Inc.Position Summary The Lead Warehouse Associate supports the daily operation of the AT Sports warehouse and serves as a lead resource for the warehouse team. This position is responsible for coordinating order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, inventory organization, warehouse cleanliness, and safe material handling. The Lead Warehouse Associate is expected to take ownership of daily warehouse priorities, help ensure orders are completed accurately and on time, maintain an organized and efficient warehouse, and provide direction and support to other warehouse associates as needed. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Coordinate daily warehouse activities based on shipping, receiving, and production needs. Process, pick, pack, stage, and load customer orders accurately and efficiently. Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and condition against applicable documentation. Ensure outgoing shipments are properly prepared, labeled, documented, and staged. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and properly. Assist with loading and unloading trucks, deliveries, and customer pickups. Ensure materials and finished products are stored in designated warehouse locations. Inventory & Organization Maintain accurate inventory locations and assist with inventory counts and reconciliation. Identify inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or other issues and communicate them promptly. Maintain an organized warehouse layout that supports efficient receiving, picking, and shipping. Ensure shelves, pallet areas, staging areas, workstations, and loading areas remain clean and orderly. Help maintain proper rotation and organization of warehouse inventory. Safety & Quality Follow and reinforce AT Sports warehouse safety procedures. Ensure forklifts, equipment, and warehouse areas are used and maintained safely. Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Verify orders for product, quantity, and condition before shipment. Help prevent shipping errors, inventory damage, and unnecessary material loss. Maintain a safe, clean, and professional working environment. Documentation & Communication Complete required shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse documentation. Enter and maintain accurate information within applicable inventory, shipping, or business systems. Communicate effectively with production, customer service, sales, logistics, and other departments as needed. Assist with resolving shipping, receiving, and inventory issues. Perform other warehouse and operational duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 2+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or related experience preferred. Previous experience providing team leadership, training, or work direction preferred. Forklift operating experience required. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy. Basic mathematical and inventory-management skills. Basic computer and data-entry skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Dependable, reliable, and able to work with limited supervision. Ability to identify problems and take initiative to resolve or escalate them appropriately. Physical Demands & Work Environment Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including throughout an 8-hour shift. Regularly required to use hands to handle materials and equipment and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, and carry materials. Regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Occasionally assist with moving objects weighing more than 100 lbs. using appropriate equipment or team-lifting procedures.
