Warehouse Associate

ACCU-SCOPE is a growing, medical and industrial supply company, located just off the LIE and Northern State Pkwy in the Hauppague Industrial Park. We are currently seeking an energetic individual to be an associate in our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, with the ability to work well in a team based environment. We offer a comfortable work environment with hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. We offer paid time off, paid health benefits, 401K plan, and paid holidays. The successful candidate will need to perform the following duties and meet the listed requirements. Job Description: The Warehouse Associate performs picking, packing, loading/unloading, receiving, stock keeping, and other related shipping activities. The right candidate should be familiar working with Starship, UPS WorldShip or FedEx Ship Manager to prepare small parcel shipments for drop-shipments, freight collect, third party, etc. Detailed Description Handle all incoming shipments. Perform verification of purchased products and confirm order receipts. Perform quality assurance inspections when appropriate. Unload and put away received goods, into appropriate warehouse locations. Pull, assemble (when necessary), pack, weigh, label and ship orders from pick tickets for shipment via UPS, FedEX, Air Freight or LTL. Prepare shipments for small parcel shipments as well as pallet shipments Prepare bills of lading Assist in loading and unloading trucks. Maintain organization and cleanness of shipping room, warehouse and trucking/parking area. Light duty maintenance as required within building. Prepare freight quotes upon request for sales team Must be able lift up to 65 lbs. Salary - We are looking for an experienced warehouse associate, and salary will be commensurate with this experience.
