Spectra Event Group Inc.WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE Spectra Event Group is a design-forward event company specializing in corporate events, brand experiences, and large-scale event environments throughout Western Canada.Our Warehouse Associate plays an important role in the operational execution of our events. Working closely with the Inventory Specialist and Operations team, this position is responsible for preparing, packing, maintaining, and returning Spectra’s collection of event furniture, décor, props, and production inventory.This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in organization, works efficiently, and understands that the condition and preparation of every item leaving our warehouse directly impacts the quality of the events we deliver. COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE Rate of Pay: $25.00 per hour Permanent, full-time position Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekend shifts may be required based on the event schedule Eligible for extended benefits following the probationary period RESPONSIBILITIES Inventory & Order Preparation Pull inventory accurately according to event and project orders Carefully prepare, protect, wrap, and pack furniture, décor, props, and other event inventory for transportation Verify quantities and condition of items before they leave the warehouse Receive returned inventory and ensure items are properly checked in, cleaned, inspected, and returned to their designated locations Identify and report damaged, missing, or improperly returned inventory Receive and process new inventory, including counting, labelling, photographing, and assigning warehouse locations Maintain accurate inventory information within Spectra’s inventory management system Assist with inventory counts and ongoing stock audits Ensure products are stored safely and efficiently to minimize damage and maximize warehouse space Warehouse Operations Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment Load and unload trucks, including boxes, bins, furniture, décor, props, and production materials Safely use warehouse and moving equipment, including dollies, rolling boards, carts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment Ensure aisles, exits, loading areas, and workspaces remain clear and safe Assist with cleaning, basic maintenance, and preparation of inventory between events Support minor refurbishment and preparation projects such as painting, staining, touch-ups, and basic repairs Work with the Inventory Specialist to improve storage locations and warehouse organization Assist with receiving deliveries and coordinating incoming and outgoing inventory Complete general warehouse housekeeping, including sweeping, waste removal, recycling, and maintaining work areas Complete additional operational projects and tasks as assigned Truck Loading & Event Logistics Assist with developing efficient and safe truck packs based on event requirements Load vehicles in a manner that protects inventory and ensures loads are properly balanced and secured Use appropriate straps, blankets, carts, and other equipment to protect inventory during transportation Assist with unloading and loading vehicles at event venues Follow venue loading dock, access, parking, and operational requirements When required and qualified, drive company or rental vehicles up to and including 5-ton trucks to event locations Conduct basic pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any safety or maintenance concerns Report to the Event Lead or designated supervisor while working on-site Represent Spectra professionally when working at client locations, hotels, convention centres, and other event venues WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR The successful candidate is someone who is: Reliable, punctual, and ready to work as part of a team Highly organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change Able to follow packing lists, warehouse labels, diagra…
