Warehouse Assistant / Parts Runner

Job Overview We're looking for a dependable Warehouse Assistant / Parts Runner to join our HVAC team. You'll keep our technicians stocked, our warehouse organized, and parts moving between suppliers, our shop, and the field — so jobs get finished on the first visit. This is an active, hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail and a reliable, team-first attitude. What You'll Do Pick up parts and equipment from local supply houses and deliver them to technicians at job sites Receive incoming deliveries, check them against orders and packing slips, and report shortages, damage, or wrong items to the office the same day Label and stage received parts for upcoming jobs; notify the office as soon as parts arrive for jobs waiting on parts so return visits can be scheduled Restock technician trucks and warehouse shelves on a set schedule, and report low stock before it runs out Assist with inventory counts and keep inventory records accurate in our system (ServiceTitan) Process vendor, warranty, and core returns and get credit memos back to the office Stage, load, and deliver equipment and materials for scheduled installs Turn in packing slips, receipts, and invoices to the office daily Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager, Purchasing, and the Dispatch team on open orders, backorders, and expected arrivals Assist the Warehouse Manager with sheet metal work Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, and keep the company vehicle clean and in good condition Other duties as assigned What We're Looking For Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (required; must qualify for our company vehicle insurance) Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail — matching part numbers, quantities, and paperwork accurately Reliable, on-time attendance and able to work independently once trained Comfortable using a smartphone and software for texts, photos, email, and simple data entry A team-first mindset — someone who communicates clearly and follows up with the office, technicians, and vendors Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet, on ladders, in a warehouse, and outdoors in all weather Prior warehouse, delivery, shipping/receiving, or parts-counter experience preferred, ideally in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical (training provided) What We Offer $20.00 per hour, 40 hours per week Monday–Thursday 7:30 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 7:30–11:30 AM (30-minute unpaid lunch Monday–Thursday) 401k/Roth 401k 401k/Roth 401k 3% Safe Harbor Contribution Weekly Phone Allowance Vacation Time Sick Time 6 Paid Holidays Dental Insurance Health Insurance Pay: $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance On-the-job training Paid time off Work Location: In person
