In this pivotal role, you will oversee the daily management of warehouse activities, coordinate product assembly processes, and ensure seamless logistics flow. Responsibilities Thrive in an active, hands-on role that requires both traditional daily warehouse duties and product assembly and repackaging ad hoc work Accurate item picking, product assembly, shipping, receiving, and inventory cycle counts Ensure warehouse personnel are working in a safe and productive environment Monitor daily production plan of pick/pack/ship, inbound receiving and returns Identify weekly manpower requirements and schedule appropriate short term staff Efficiently repack large quantities of bulk items for future order shipments Properly weigh, wrap and label skids for shipment Manage the scheduling, routing, communication, and control of all trucking activities Regularly review and update warehouse and product assembly processes to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements Provide regular, detailed updates to management that may frequently be off-site Qualifications Required experience managing a warehouse with focus on maintaining a safe environment Prefer experience working with temp agencies in hiring and managing short term staff Prefer experience creating an efficient assembly line strategy and repacking items Required experience in shipping, receiving, assembly of pallets, loading and unloading containers and reworking product Required physical skills including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, stooping, reaching, and walking for continuous periods of time Independently illustrate attention to detail, problem solving skills, time management, organization, multitasking, and decision-making capabilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Good communication and customer service skills Maintain motivation while working unaccompanied for extended periods of time Pet Impulse started in 2018 with the intent to bring quality pet products to the discount retail channel. Pet Impulse is seeking a qualified, highly motivated individual to drive warehouse and product assembly operations in our evolving environment where no two days are the same!
