Warehouse and Forklift

Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution and materials handling, with a strong focus on efficiency and accuracy. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping and receiving processes, as well as maintaining inventory integrity. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload materials safely and efficiently. Perform order picking using RF scanners to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Assist in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all materials are properly documented and tracked within the warehouse management system. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Handle heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring all safety protocols are followed during materials handling. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company policies regarding safety and cleanliness. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations, including forklift operation and heavy equipment handling. Familiarity with order picking processes, shipping & receiving protocols, and warehouse management systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic maintenance on equipment. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and workplace safety. Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a similar leadership role is a plus. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift. A valid forklift operator certification is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
