Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse and Delivery Associate, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse distribution and delivery processes. Responsibilities Operate warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA and safety regulations. Handle materials with manual lifting techniques and heavy equipment operation to stock, load, unload, and transport goods throughout the warehouse. Conduct shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all inbound and outbound shipments are accurately documented and processed. Maintain safety protocols by consistently using personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to safety regulations during all warehouse operations. Receive, check in and organize solar and electrical materials: panels, racking, inverters, batteries, wire and conduit Keep the warehouse clean, labeled and set up so crews can find what they need fast Track inventory and flag low stock before it holds up a job Pull and stage materials for upcoming installs Drive a 22 ft box truck to deliver materials to job sites across Virginia, usually the day before an install Assist with warehouse distribution tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing materials handling equipment operation, and supporting warehouse supervisor directives for efficient workflow. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, crane, cherry pickers, or pallet jacks; certification preferred. Strong understanding of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, inventory management, and materials handling. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while following safety procedures. Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and data entry accuracy. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Previous warehouse supervisor experience or logistics background is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Solar or electrical materials experience. You know the difference between an MC4 and a MLPE, or THHN and PV wire.
