Battle Garage Racing Service is looking for an enthusiastic automotive fan to join our shop in Fremont as a Hybrid Warehouse & Customer Service Associate . In this role, you will split your time between hands-on fulfillment on the warehouse floor and direct customer communication from your desk. You will keep orders moving, make sure inventory is accounted for, and provide clear updates to fellow car enthusiasts waiting on their parts. You will also collaborate directly with our marketing manager on quick product photo staging and social media story updates. If you love working around Japanese cars (AE86/BRZ/GRC), modifying vehicles, and want to learn the ins and outs of aftermarket automotive operations, this is the role for you. What You Will Do Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations: Receive incoming inventory, inspect shipments against packing slips, and accurately enter stock into our internal inventory system. Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing domestic and international shipments alongside our fulfillment team. Track backorders, monitor restock timelines, and prep pending customer orders as soon as parts arrive. Maintain a tidy shop floor, organize storage locations, update Bin IDs, and stage parts for high-volume order pulls. Assemble product kits and packages Customer Support: Respond to inbound customer emails regarding order status, backorder ETAs, tracking updates, and stock availability. Work closely with the warehouse team to quickly solve shipping issues, address corrections, or product exchanges. Assist with customer engagement and order status questions across our social media platforms. Marketing & Shop Content Support: Assist our marketing manager with simple product staging, unboxing, and capturing photos for website listings. Help capture Instagram/Facebook Stories (new product arrivals, sales, and restock alerts). Qualifications & Requirements Automotive Knowledge: Familiarity with basic vehicle components, aftermarket suspension, chassis, or general performance parts. Personal project build experience is a huge plus. Customer Interaction: Prior experience in retail, customer support, or direct client communication with strong written skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver boxes and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Organization & Accuracy: Sharp eye for detail when verifying SKU numbers, part codes, and bin locations. Software Comfort: Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn inventory systems, shipping platforms, and email support tools.
