Warehouse Administrator
EPSJob Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage inventory accuracy, and ensure smooth shipping and receiving processes. Your expertise will help optimize warehouse distribution, maintain compliance with international trade regulations, and support order fulfillment activities. Responsibilities Manage warehouse management system (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to track inventory levels, shipments, and stock movements. Coordinate shipping logistics, including scheduling pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely dispatches, and verifying shipping & receiving documentation. Oversee inventory management processes such as stocking, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation to maintain high accuracy. Supervise order picking & packing operations using order picker equipment, pallet jacks, and other tools to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Ensure compliance with trade regulations and international trade standards during all warehouse activities. Conduct data entry related to inventory transactions, shipment records, and order processing using systems like AS400 or MRP platforms. Support warehouse distribution efforts by organizing storage space, managing stock rotation, and maintaining safety standards. Assist with training staff on warehouse operations procedures, including the use of forklift trucks and other equipment. Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve order discrepancies or delivery issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics environments with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes. Strong knowledge of inventory management software, warehouse management systems (WMS), and ERP platforms such as AS400 or similar systems. Competency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication purposes. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipment documentation. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklift trucks and pallet jacks safely. Excellent data entry skills combined with attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping. Knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment procedures, and trade compliance regulations—especially concerning international trade standards. Effective communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence in fast-paced environments.
