Duties Safely operate your cargo van equipped with commercial insurance to complete scheduled Walmart package deliveries. Pick up packages from designated distribution centers or warehouses and deliver them efficiently to customers’ locations. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure secure transportation of packages. Manage delivery routes effectively, optimizing for time and efficiency while maintaining accuracy in deliveries. Communicate professionally with customers if needed, providing updates or assistance during the delivery process. Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of your cargo van to ensure reliable service. Complete all required documentation related to deliveries, including proof of delivery when applicable. Adhere to company policies and procedures related to safety, security, and customer service. Skills Valid cargo van ownership with current commercial insurance coverage. Proven experience in driving cargo vans or similar vehicles preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow detailed delivery instructions and routes. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines consistently. Good communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members. Attention to detail for accurate package handling and documentation. Knowledge of local traffic laws and safe driving practices. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for deliveries.
