VP, Technology Finance & Vendor Management

Position Overview We are seeking an accomplished senior finance leader to oversee Technology Finance, Contract Management, Vendor Management, and Third-Party Risk for a large, complex technology organization. This position will function as a senior financial leader supporting a large, complex technology organization., partnering closely with the CIO, Finance, Legal, Risk, and executive leadership. The ideal candidate brings significant enterprise-level accounting and financial management expertise combined with direct experience negotiating complex contracts and managing large-scale vendor relationships. This is a highly visible leadership position with significant interaction across the organization. Key Responsibilities Technology Finance & Accounting Lead financial management of a significant enterprise-level IT expense and capital budget. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, accruals, and spend analysis Partner with the CIO and senior Finance leadership on financial strategy and planning Drive greater transparency around costs, allocations, and cost-saving opportunities Lead and develop experienced finance professionals Contracts & Risk Personally lead and support negotiations for complex, multi-million-dollar technology contracts Negotiate terms and pricing Partner with Legal and Risk Provide oversight of contract governance and lifecycle management Vendor & Partner Management Oversee strategic relationships with major technology and outsourcing vendors Lead vendor governance, performance management, and escalations Manage Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) activities Drive improvements across vendor-management processes, tools, metrics, and governance Experience managing vendor relationships is highly valued Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA strongly preferred 15+ years of progressive experience across finance, accounting, technology financial management, vendor management, and/or technology operations Significant Controller-level or equivalent accounting/financial leadership experience Deep knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and financial controls Demonstrated experience personally negotiating complex, multi-million-dollar contracts 6+ years of vendor-management leadership experience with large-scale technology suppliers Experience leading and developing teams Advanced Excel skills Experience within a large, highly regulated organization is a plus Big Four/audit or similarly rigorous accounting foundation is highly desirable Ideal Candidate The strongest candidate will bring a combination of: Finance & Accounting + Contract Negotiation + Vendor Management + Senior Leadership Looking for an established leader who can operate autonomously, influence senior executives, lead experienced subject-matter experts, and serve as a trusted business partner across Finance and Technology.
