LaddersFor our client, we are seeking a VP - Pwr Purchasing,Transmission&Growth to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space. This executive will lead strategic purchasing and sourcing efforts that support transmission expansion and growth initiatives across a complex operational environment. The role will partner closely with senior stakeholders to shape supplier strategy, manage market dynamics, and strengthen commercial outcomes. In addition, this leader will oversee insurance strategy and risk financing while driving continuous improvement and disciplined decision-making. Location: Boston, MA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $209,000 – $261,000 annually Responsibilities Set strategic vision and performance targets for power purchasing and insurance Advise on procurement strategy and supplier-market dynamics affecting business outcomes Oversee sourcing and contract strategies for renewable generation and transmission growth Build strategic supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing and quality Anticipate and manage supply-chain disruptions and market volatility Provide oversight for insurance strategy and risk financing Champion continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, Risk Management, or related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, commercial operations, insurance, or risk financing Proven success in leading complex organizations and major capital sourcing strategies in a large matrixed environment Strong executive communication, commercial judgment, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders Knowledge of procurement governance, supplier risk management, and insurance practices Benefits Competitive benefits and growth opportunities Generous performance-based bonuses 12% 401(k) match Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Tuition reimbursement Professional development and clear career-advancement pathways Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
