Role Description The VP Data Center Supply Chain will lead end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution for data center development projects. This full-time, remote role will oversee demand planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management for critical equipment, materials, and services supporting power, civil, and mission-critical infrastructure. Responsibilities include building and managing supplier relationships, negotiating high-value contracts, ensuring timely delivery of long-lead items, and aligning supply chain plans with project schedules and budget targets. The role will collaborate closely with development, engineering, construction, and finance teams to mitigate risk, optimize costs, and maintain continuity of supply in power-constrained markets. The VP will also establish performance metrics, drive process improvements, and implement tools and procedures that scale with Vulcan’s growing portfolio of data center sites. Qualifications Strong expertise in Supply Chain Management and Logistics Management for large-scale, capital-intensive projects. Demonstrated experience in Demand Planning and Inventory Management for complex, multi-site infrastructure or data center programs. Proven Procurement experience, including strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management. Background in data center, power, utilities, or industrial construction environments is highly beneficial. Ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence senior stakeholders, and operate effectively in fast-paced, high-growth settings. Strong analytical, financial, and modeling skills to support decision-making, cost optimization, and risk assessment. Experience implementing supply chain tools, ERP systems, or planning platforms to improve visibility and execution. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are a plus.
