VMI Associate

Overview As a Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Associate, you’ll help keep products available by coordinating inventory, generating sales orders, and logistics across warehouse operations. You would be using company vehicle to go direct to customers location and take weekly/bi-weekly sales orders to keep production parts available for end user. Duties Monitor inventory levels, stocking, shipping and receiving, and warehouse distribution using inventory management software. Go direct to customers location and generate a sales order based on current inventory levels. Create sales order and ensure accuracy on parts we are responsible to supply to the end user Keep inventory levels within the predetermined minimum and maximum data set based on estimated annual usage. Coordinate warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics inventory management, including UPS/FedEx/3PL, and company vehicle delivery. Your impact: Accurate inventory decisions help warehouse and sales teams fulfill orders and keep products available for customers production needs. Experience Warehouse experience in warehouse management, warehouse operations, order fulfillment, or supply chain and logistics is helpful. Communicate across teams; forklift experience and ability to perform heavy lifting may be needed depending on site duties. Any fastener or hardware related experience is a plus but not necessary.
