The Opportunity RIGELONE TECH is seeking a former government professional and experienced GovCon growth executive to join the company as Vice President of Government Growth and Operating Co-Founder. Direct experience working inside federal, state, or local government is required. Experience supporting government solely as a contractor will not, by itself, satisfy this requirement. The ideal candidate has served in a government leadership, acquisition, program management, technology, operations, or mission-delivery role and understands how agencies develop requirements, establish budgets, evaluate risk, acquire services, and make purchasing decisions. This individual must also demonstrate the ability to translate that government experience into an ethical and disciplined growth strategy. We are seeking someone who can build relationships, establish partnerships, lead capture efforts, develop a qualified pipeline, and help RIGELONE TECH win and successfully deliver new business. This is not a traditional salaried executive position. It is an equity-based opportunity for an entrepreneurial operator who wants to help build a government technology company and participate in its long-term value. Key Responsibilities Government Market Strategy Develop and execute RIGELONE TECH’s federal, state, and local government growth strategy. Use firsthand knowledge of government operations to identify agency priorities, mission challenges, budget drivers, acquisition trends, and unmet needs. Select priority agencies, accounts, buyers, contract vehicles, partners, and service offerings. Develop account plans for targeted departments, agencies, and government programs. Translate RIGELONE TECH’s capabilities and past performance into mission-focused solutions. Establish annual pipeline, bookings, proposal, revenue, and profitability targets. Advise the leadership team on how government customers evaluate performance, delivery risk, contractor credibility, and purchasing decisions. Business Development and Capture Build and manage a qualified pipeline of prime and subcontracting opportunities. Develop relationships with government executives, program offices, acquisition personnel, contracting officials, small-business offices, and industry partners. Identify opportunities early in the acquisition lifecycle, before solicitations are publicly released. Lead customer discovery, opportunity qualification, capture planning, competitive analysis, win-theme development, and bid/no-bid decisions. Lead responses to RFIs, sources-sought notices, market-research requests, capability requests, and solicitations. Coordinate technical, pricing, proposal, staffing, and executive resources throughout the pursuit lifecycle. Ensure that growth activities comply with procurement-integrity, ethics, conflict-of-interest, and applicable post-government employment requirements. Strategic Partnerships Establish executive relationships with large and mid-sized federal system integrators. Develop teaming arrangements, subcontracting opportunities, joint pursuits, and strategic alliances. Negotiate workshare, roles, responsibilities, and partnership expectations.
