Veterinary Customer Service Assistant/ Inventory Specialist

We are a small, feline-only veterinary practice looking for a dependable, organized, and friendly Customer Service Assistant/Inventory Specialist to join our team! This position is a combination of inventory management and veterinary customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable multitasking, enjoys working with people and cats, and can help keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly. Responsibilities: Inventory: Responsibilities may include: Monitor and maintain inventory levels Place and receive supply and product orders Keep inventory spaces organized and up to date Track products and supplies to help prevent shortages Assist with other inventory-related tasks as needed Customer Service/Reception: Answer phones in a friendly, professional manner Schedule and manage appointments Return client phone calls and respond to emails Send prescription and other necessary faxes Assist the Lead CSR with daily front desk responsibilities Communicate with clients regarding their pets' care and needs Help maintain an organized, welcoming reception area Qualifications Veterinary experience or veterinary knowledge is preferred , but not required Customer service or veterinary reception experience is a plus Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment Dependable, responsible, and comfortable working independently Comfortable working around cats and passionate about feline care About Us We are a small, feline-only veterinary practice dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our families.
