Vendor Management Analyst

Join one of the nation’s leading renewable energy organizations, operating 450+ clean energy projects across 35 states with 14 GW of generating capacity . Play a key role in a major SAP S/4HANA transformation , helping transition and strengthen supplier onboarding and vendor master processes across a large, complex organization. This 6–12 month project offers a hybrid schedule with only two days onsite in Scottsdale , potential for permanent conversion for high performers, and hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, Ariba, supplier onboarding, master data management, and Procure-to-Pay operations . The Vendor Management Analyst will support the complete setup, validation, maintenance, and transition of supplier master data while serving as a key point of contact for external vendors. This role will work across Procurement, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, and site operations to improve vendor onboarding, resolve data and documentation issues, and maintain accurate supplier records. The position will also contribute to data cleansing and migration, vendor KPIs, process standardization, and supplier enablement throughout the SAP S/4HANA transformation. Responsibilities Create, update, validate, and maintain vendor master records within SAP and vendor management platforms. Guide suppliers through onboarding and profile updates, including collection of required vendor documentation. Review vendor forms, tax documentation, banking information, insurance records, and other required supplier information. Analyze vendor profiles to resolve missing information, inconsistencies, duplicates, and data quality issues. Collaborate with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, and site teams to validate vendor information and resolve setup issues. Route vendor exceptions through appropriate approval processes. Support vendor master data cleansing, validation, migration, and transition activities associated with SAP S/4HANA. Support supplier onboarding and enablement through SAP Ariba and related vendor management tools. Develop vendor KPIs and functional scorecards with key stakeholders. Improve and standardize vendor creation, maintenance, and onboarding processes. Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to vendor management methodologies and workflows. Maintain accuracy across high volumes of vendor records during system and process changes. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, supplier onboarding, or supply chain operations. 2+ years of hands-on master data management experience. Strong experience creating, updating, validating, and maintaining vendor master data . Hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience strongly preferred. SAP Fiori experience preferred. Experience onboarding suppliers and resolving vendor documentation or profile issues. Knowledge of Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. SAP Ariba experience highly relevant; Coupa experience is a plus. Experience with vendor data validation, cleansing, exception management, or ERP migration/transition activities. Experience handling high volumes of vendor records while maintaining data accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Ability to work a hybrid schedule with two days onsite in Scottsdale, AZ .
