Vending Route Merchandiser / Restocker — Part-Time (1099 Contract)

About the role We service vending machines at commercial and airport-area sites in the [Memphis / Atlanta] area and are hiring a reliable, independent route contractor to keep assigned machines stocked, clean, and running. This is a recurring part-time contract role — a great fit for someone who wants steady, flexible work a few days a week. Schedule & pay Part-time, [2–3] service days per week; roughly 2–3 hours per route Flat contract fee per completed route (1099 — paid per route, not hourly) You set how you complete the work within each service day What you’ll do Restock product and rotate inventory (FIFO) at assigned machines Reconcile and remit cash collections using our sealed-bag procedure Keep machines and stock areas clean; remove trash Report pricing, mechanical, or stock issues promptly Requirements Reliable truck or SUV preferred (cargo space for totes and product; weather protection), with valid driver’s license and auto insurance Smartphone for logging service and sales reconciliation Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout a route Strong attention to detail — accurate pricing, proper product rotation, and precise cash counts matter on every stop Pass a background check and motor-vehicle record check Able to obtain a site/airport security badge where required Legally authorized to work in the U.S. Contractor terms (please read) This is an independent contractor (1099) position. You are responsible for your own taxes, vehicle, and insurance, and will be asked to carry general liability and auto coverage and provide a Certificate of Insurance. This is not a W-2 employee role.
