The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to meet the demands of our logistics operations. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated destinations Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or heavy equipment when necessary Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues Assist with the operation of heavy equipment or forklifts as needed for loading and unloading Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting if required to ensure vehicle functionality Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during deliveries Skills Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery safely Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus for vehicle maintenance needs Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to operate heavy equipment when necessary for loading or unloading cargo This position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of our logistics team, ensuring goods are delivered efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
