Position Summary: Under the direction of the Assistant Manager, League Games and Operations and in close collaboration with Athletics & Recreation (A&R) leadership, the incumbent provides operational support for varsity sports competitions, logistics, staffing, and special events. The position supports the delivery, supervision, and continuous improvement of varsity competitions and league games, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations. Primary Responsibilities: Overall Program Lead Responsibilities Support competition sports supervision and varsity scheduling for assigned sport groupings (Groups 2, 3, and 4). Oversee home varsity games and competitions, including accurate statistical data entry, records management, and post‑event reporting. Ensure that platforms such as S1, Spordle, PrestoStats post event deadlines are met and the data is accurate Responsible for ambulance booking in collaboration with the sports medicine clinic. Coordinate training initiatives and staffing needs for sport officials and varsity competition sport officials, including onboarding, scheduling, operational readiness (training) and emergency protocols. Prepare game protocols as per league standards. Ensure operational standards, safety protocols, and league requirements are met during competitions. Manage in game promotions including Marty the mascot. Approve Workday time entries. Supervise home competitions, including but not limited to: Cheerleading (CHE) Flag Football Cross‑Country (CC) Rowing (ROW) Artistic Swimming (ART) Swimming (SWM) Assist Program Lead Responsibilities Provide operational and administrative support for ticketing and event access for both league‑run and competition‑run sports. Assist on scheduling of varsity league games and competitions. Assist with ticketing budget Contribute to funding development and government support initiatives, particularly for varsity competitions and special events. Support continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies and recommending procedural enhancements. Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities Strong knowledge of varsity sport operations, competition protocols and league requirements, with demonstrated ability to safely and efficiently deliver and oversee sport program competitions. Excellent organizational, scheduling, communication, problem-solving skills, with the ability to oversees staff officials in a fast-paced environment. Ability to quickly master new systems and processes while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines. Strong technological aptitude and attention to detail in data entry, records management and reporting. Ability to manage priorities, implement process improvements and work collaboratively with internal and external partners. Bilingual in French and English is required Available and able to work evenings and weekends depending on game day.
